✨ Welcome to our little corner of the internet ✨

Hey!

I’m Anna and this is my Italian Greyhound Elmo, the creator and inspiration behind Gal + Goose. You might be wondering ‘why goose?’ and to be honest, I have no idea. Like most people who have nicknames for their pets, it all started when he was a puppy and it just stuck. So really, Elmo is just his government name at this point.

A few years ago I started doing silly whimsical little drawings of Goose for fun. What started out as doodles of all Elmo’s funny little quirks and main character moments quickly turned into a sidequest to my day job, after I listed a few designs on Etsy ‘just to see what would happen’.

Six months later, I left my job working in Amazon Ads so I could try and turn a love of drawing the Goose into a full time illustration business. A year on, here we are with a regular pitch on St Albans market - you can find me outside Champneys every Saturday rain or shine. Goose probably won’t be there though, he’s a fair weather diva you see.

The site you’re on now is my online shop where I drop new art prints, digital designs, greetings cards and more - please take a look around! I also take commissions, and love capturing other people’s pets, and their personalities in print.

If you’re looking for something specific that you can’t find on my site, or you’d like to work on something custom together - get in touch here.
